Overview

Day 01 Delhi/Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar; Met on arrival transfer to Houseboat.Afternoon sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory

Day 02 Srinagar / Sonamarg/Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow) . The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar

Day 03 Srinagar/Gulmarg/Srinagar
Full day trip Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat Mountain if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg that can be covered in about 3 hrs.
Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available.evening enjoy Shikara ride on Dal lake visiting Nehru Park, vegetable floating gardens. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration.

Day 04 Srinagar/Pahalgam
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). The distance of about 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), view the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through the pine forest. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. Afternoon have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.

Day 05 In Pahalgam
Free for individual activities. One can visit Chandanwari or Aru on ponies.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 06 Pahalgam/Katra
After early breakfast drive to Katra a distance of about 260 kms will be covered in about 6 hrs. On arrival after checking into hotel .
Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 07 In Katra
Morning starting Treck to Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan (14 KMs).Return back to Hotel in the late evening for over night stay.
Day 08 Katra/Jammu
After breakfast drive to Jammu a distance of 50 kms will be covered in about 1.5 hrs. On arrival transfer to railway Station to board train for onward destination.
